Description

Gather your friends for two FREE movies on campus: "Inside Out" and "Inside Out 2." This double feature is brought to you by Beach Pride Events' (BPE) Movies on the House! Check-ins for Inside Out start before the showing. If you plan on attending both showings, you must RSVP for both events. The link to RSVP for the first showing of "Inside Out" at 4:30 PM can be found here, and second showing for "Inside Out 2" can be found here.

Free popcorn will be available while supplies last, and students are welcome to bring their own snacks. In addition, there will be opportunities for FREE opportunity drawing prizes, such as AMC movie tickets! We hope to see you there!

Inside Out

Riley is an 11-year-old hockey player that is from Minnesota who has her life figured out through the love of the sport and her close friends. That is until one day her father got a new job opportunity in San Fransisco. This movie explores Riley's coming of age with her grief and longing for suburbia in her urban landscape. Riley's five primary emotions are Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, live in Headquarters, the control center of her mind, and helps her make decisions. This movie depicts in which ways our memories and emotions can influence our personality and understanding of the world around us. As well as the importance of learning to express and regulate our negative emotions.

Inside Out 2

After teenager Riley moves to her new home of San Francisco, California, she begins to prepare herself to take on the new journey of entering high school. Her ultimate goal is for her and her friends to make it onto the hockey team, but as Riley faces her new teenage emotions of Anxiety, Envy, Ennuie, and Embarassment, she finds that it may be more difficult than she originally thought. In this heartwarming family comedy, viewers watch as Riley takes on the struggles of fitting in to high school, having to balance sports and her old friends, and dealing with her new emotions.
